Power BI Developer
Make a difference with data
At Dibber, we believe every child is valuable and deserves the opportunity to thrive. Data plays a critical role in helping us create the best possible learning environments across our kindergartens and schools. As a Power BI Developer you will transform raw data into meaningful insights that support leaders, teachers, and decision-makers in their daily work.
This is a unique opportunity to combine your technical BI expertise with a meaningful mission — contributing to better learning and development for children in Norway and internationally.
About Dibber
Dibber is one of the fastest growing and most innovative early childhood education providers in the Nordics, with over 600 centres in 9 countries. Our vision is simple yet powerful: “We develop lifelong learners with a heart for the world.”
What makes us different is our Heart Culture — an approach where we put relationships, belonging, and human values at the centre of everything we do. For us, education is not just about knowledge, but about nurturing curiosity, empathy, and resilience.
By joining Dibber, you will become part of an international organization that blends entrepreneurial spirit with social responsibility. You will collaborate with diverse teams, contribute to global development, and experience how data-driven insights can transform the way children grow and learn.
The Role
As a Power BI Developer, you will play a key role in Dibber’s data-driven journey. Your focus will be on building scalable data models, structuring and preparing data, and developing user-friendly Power BI solutions that make data easily accessible. By ensuring high-quality, well-organized datasets and intuitive dashboards, you will enable Business Controllers and decision-makers to spend less time on data preparation and more time on insights.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Collaborating with leaders and specialists to define, document, and realize reporting and business requirements
• Collaborating with Data Engineers to ensure data from internal and external sources is properly structured and prepared, and transforming it as needed for use in Power BI
• Developing scalable data models based on both relational and non-relational data, ensuring adaptability for future growth
• Building interactive dashboards and Power BI reports with clear visualizations of KPIs, trends, and insights
• Ensuring data quality, privacy, sensitivity, and access control, including row-level security
• Automating reporting and updates through Power BI Service, with potential integration into other data platforms
• Providing training and guidance so that colleagues can embrace self-service analytics in Power BI
• Helping users become self-sufficient by providing effective solutions and maintaining a well-structured data catalogue
• Acting as end-to-end platform owner for Power BI, ensuring governance, scalability, and best practices across the organization
About You
We are looking for a curious and collaborative developer who thrives in transforming complexity into clarity. You likely have:
• A degree in computer science, engineering or other related fields
• Solid experience with Power BI, Azure Power Platform, data modelling, ETL, and multi-source analysis. Experience with data engineering is also a plus
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
• A structured working style and the ability to translate business needs into effective reports and insight solutions
• Experience from complex organizations, education, or international environments (an advantage)
It is an advantage if you have worked in a fast-growing organization, where you have learned to navigate cultural differences and complex structures. Most importantly, you are motivated by the idea that your work contributes to something bigger than yourself.
What We Offer
• A meaningful role where your work directly contributes to children’s learning environments
• A central position in Dibber’s digital development and data-driven strategy
• Professional growth and the chance to shape high-impact insights across countries
• An engaged, interdisciplinary team with a shared mission
• Modern offices in Skøyen, Oslo, and flexible working arrangements
The position reports to the Head of Analytics and Business Development.
