About the role

As our Unit Manager you will embrace the principles of the Dibber Way, showcasing robust leadership, motivational prowess, and adept team-building capabilities. Demonstrate effective communication, a results-driven approach, a positive demeanour, and adaptability to meet diverse challenges.
Day to day you will: -

  • Build strong relationships internally with Dibber stakeholders and externally with parents, authorities, universities, and industry representatives.
  • Act as a representative for Dibber, aligning with organizational goals and strategies.
  • Recruit and develop a skilled team, ensuring continuous competence and motivation.
  • Guide employees to ensure kindergarten operations comply with laws, regulations, and Dibber's standards.
  • Manage critical functions such as kindergarten finances according to set budgets and targets. Efficiently handle reporting salary, approving invoices, correspondence and children’s admissions, even during personal absences.
  • Ensure compliance with Dibber's quality standards and pedagogical concepts.
  • Maintain ongoing dialogue with municipal authorities, actively preventing deviations and addressing complaints.
  • Follow up on internal control systems and ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Ensure the Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) system is operational, with employees adhering to set goals.

 

Your Qualifications

Higher education within pedagogy/teaching, and experience from work in kindergartens. It is preferred that Unit Managers have leadership education.
